Ecole St. Gerard K-2 Playground
Our latest project is an augmentation and eventual replacement of the over 25 year old playground in the front of the school. This $280,000 project is well underway and targeting installation in the spring/summer of 2025.
Location
The new playground will be located on the North side of the original playground once the old portable classrooms are removed. The original playground is nearing its end of life, so we plan to have this new park in place prior to the removal of the old park.

Design
The playground is planned to be accessible, and community friendly, including adequate path access and benches for adults to be comfortable while supervising children, and meeting neighbours.

Funds
This park will cost approximately $280,000. We have raised over $110,000 thus far, and plan to apply for a matching grant once we have raised $140,000.

Dream home ticket sales
Once again we've partnered with the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie to sell Dream Home tickets. Our shifts are March 7 to 11, 2024, at the dream home in Taylor Estates, and are typically 2.5 to 3 hours long

Cobs Dough Raiser
Ok this one's simple as well as delicious. Buy bread and other wonderful baked goods at Cobs bakery in Westgate. Mention us, Ecole St Gerard Playground. We receive $$$$$ from Cobs. That is all. Check them out, they have some amazing baking! And, every time I've been in there, they've had samples of some deliciousness too!!!!
